Scheduled Maintenance

Many recommended service intervals for vehicles use the 30-60-90 schedule. This is to say certain parts of your vehicle need to be inspected, changed, or repaired at 30,000, 60,000, and 90,000 miles.
  • 30,000 Mile Maintenance:
    Air Filter
    A grimy and clogged air filter makes the engine hard to breathe, and could lead to poor acceleration and performance.
    ‍Fuel Filter
    Gasoline carries lots of contaminants that will eventually clog the fuel filter. The engine will run rough with intermittent fuel entering the engine, or may not get enough fuel to start.Your best option is to ask your mechanic to perform a pressure test to determine the health of your fuel filter.
  • 90,000 Mile Maintenance:
    Hoses
    The hoses on your car carry coolant, and power steering fluid. As the rubber ages, cracks can form,therefore inspect and change as needed, particularly as your car approaches. 100K miles.
  • 60,000 Mile Maintenance:
    Battery
    Most batteries will last four or five years, which averages between 50k to 60k miles.
    Brake Pads/Rotors & Brake Fluid
    A good set will last 50k miles.
    Coolant
    Replace and flush the entire cooling system 60k miles.
    Transmission Fluid
    Low transmission-fluid levels will cause shifting problems and can burn-up the transmission. Healthy fluid will be pink and smell sweet,while bad transmission fluid will be darker red, or even brown, and smell burnt. A low-level or contaminated fluid will  trigger the“check engine” light.
